没有人是一座孤岛
 
没有人是一座孤岛,
完全做自己,
每个人都是大陆的一块,
整体的一部分。
假如海水冲走了一块泥土,
欧洲就变小了。
岬角被冲走也会如此。
你朋友的或是你自己的领地
被冲走也会如此:
任何人类的死亡都消弱我,
因为我是人类的一员,
因此绝不要问丧钟为谁而鸣;
它为你而鸣。
