我学会的东西
只有恰当地低使用几样工具吗？

在艰难愉快的工作之间
的时时刻刻

沉默地坐着，喝酒，
想到我自己
几种起了干皮的想法。
    
  --初开的猫耳百合花
     铺天盖地，
      是春天了。
   我把它们指出来：
   黄色的花瓣，金色的发丝，
    的种类。

沉默地看着：
永远不是同样的两次，
但当你弄清楚的时候，
      你就传扬了它。
What have I learned but
the proper use for several tools?

The moments
between hard pleasant tasks

To sit silent, drink wine,
and think my own kind
of dry crusty thoughts.

       —the first Calochortus flowers
       and in all the land,
       it’s spring.
       I point them out:
       the yellow petals, the golden hairs,
       to Gen.

Seeing in silence:
never the same twice,
but when you get it right,

              you pass it on.
