我二十一岁的时候
我听到一位智者说,
“王冠,英镑,金币皆可抛
就是不能献出你的心;
珍珠宝石皆可弃
但要让你的想象随心所欲。”
但现在我二十一岁了
跟我讲这些话是没用的
我二十一岁的时候
又听见他说,
“胸膛里的一颗心
绝非可以白白掏给人;
'这是叹息很多的付出
卖出无尽的悔恨。‘
我二十一岁了,
哦,那是真的,那是真的。

‘Give crowns and pounds and guineas

But I was one-and-twenty,
No use to talk to me.
