鲜少休息--

小鸟不会有异议

而是温顺地表示感激

鸿沟在手和她之间

面包屑遥不可及

在她黄色的膝上，昏晕

轻轻地落下来，很喜欢--

The Lady feeds Her little Bird

At rarer intervals --

The little Bird would not dissent

But meekly recognize

The Gulf between the Hand and Her

And crumbless and afar

And fainting, on Her yellow Knee

Fall softly, and adore --
