◎ My Home (阅读67次)

My Home

My home lies where I am
As I follow your voice
My home extends as far as I can see
Lighted by the sun, the moon and stars
All that my hands can reach are my furnishings
Grass carpet dotted with cattle herds stretches to horizon
Vine curtains hang from tree and rocks
Frameless pictures match my wall-less imagination

No window glass separates me from landscape
Pigeons deliver letters from afar
Warblers join me in my chanting
Butterflies rest on blossoms of my dress
I happen to meet a deer’s gaze when I lift my eyes from my page

I feed on berries and nuts
Brooks satisfy my thirst
And warm springs comfort my skin
Whenever I speak, you’ll hear

Sounds of nature accompany me all day
Waves, rains and echoes from valleys
Inspire me to write
Lull me to sleep
Bring me closer to you
Night after night

As you’ve told me
My home can be anywhere
Only if I keep my heart open
